Site Guide
Brewing and Buying Help
Use this page when a green tea question is too practical for a broad overview: a bitter cup, a weak aroma, a confusing grade label, or a choice between Longjing, matcha, sencha, and other loose-leaf teas.
projectgreentea keeps help notes focused on observable cues: leaf shape, powder texture, water temperature, steep time, liquor color, freshness, storage, and the tradeoffs a reader can adjust at home.

Brewing questions
Start with water temperature, leaf amount, steep time, and cup size. Bitterness often asks for cooler water or a shorter steep; thin flavor may need fresher tea or a clearer leaf-to-water ratio.
Buying questions
Check harvest timing, leaf appearance, aroma, storage condition, and whether origin or grade language is specific enough to be useful. Premium wording alone is not a tasting note.
Wellness questions
Caffeine, antioxidants, focus, and energy are handled as general context. Tea notes on this site do not replace medical advice or promise health outcomes.
